Our system has boasted the industry's highest closing rate with our leads since its inception. And, this was validated in 2007 when we contracted to have a survey done to determine the exact number of closings resulting in the leads we were sending out. At that time, it was found that we had a 1 in 5 closing rate. But, with the market changing and the radical shift in real estate that has happened in the last 18 months, we decided it was time to re-validate our findings.
So, in September of 2009, Real Estate Pipeline contracted Pacific Market Research in Renton, WA, to do an independent survey of some of the leads that we have sent to our member agents. Every client we contacted had been sent out 12 months ago to ensure that any potential purchase happened during the middle of this massive decline in the industry. In total, 502 clients were contacted and asked the following two questions:
1. Have you purchased or sold a home in the last 12 months?
And what Pacific Market Research found was staggering!
In total, 20.3% of everyone surveyed did in fact buy or sell a home in the last 12 months! What was even more staggering, 75.4% of those people that had a transaction used a real estate agent to do it!
1 in 5! In online lead generation, it doesn't get much better than that.
